Quentin Lafargue (born November 17, 1990 in Mazères ) is a French track cyclist .
Quentin Lafargue is a specialist for short-term disciplines on the track . In 2006 he won his first national sprint title in the youth class. In 2007 he was the young European champion in the team sprint , in 2008 in Cape Town three-time junior world champion in the team sprint, 1000-meter time trial and in the sprint and in the same year three-time young European champion in the same disciplines.
At the UCI Track World Championships 2010 in Ballerup , Lafargue was 13th in the sprint and sixth in the time trial the following year at the World Championships in Apeldoorn. In 2011 he won three national time trial titles, Keirin and Sprint. In 2012 he was European champion (U23) in the time trial at the European track championships in Anadia , vice-European champion in the team sprint (with Julien Palma and Charlie Conord ) and nationally champion in the keirin and third in the time trial. In 2014 he won the national sprint title.
At the 2017 UCI Track World Championships in Hong Kong , Lafargue won the silver medal in the 1000-meter time trial, together with Tomáš Bábek , as both riders had completed the laps at the same time. In the team sprint, he won silver with Benjamin Édelin and Sébastien Vigier .
