Gianni Sartori
Gianni Sartori (born December 2, 1946 in Pozzoleone ) is a former Italian track cyclist and world champion.
In 1967 he won the championship in the 1000 meter time trial in the Italian championships. In the same year he set a world record over the kilometer distance. Gianni Sartori became world champion in the 1000 meter time trial on the track in Antwerp in 1969 . The year before he had taken third place in this discipline in Rome . In 1968 Sartori took part in the Summer Olympics in Mexico City and finished fourth in the 1000-meter time trial. In 1970 and 1971 he was again national champion in his specialty.
