Pozzoleone is a north-east Italian municipality ( comune ) with 2789 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Vicenza in Veneto . The municipality is located about 15.5 kilometers northeast of Vicenza and borders directly on the province of Padua . The Brenta forms the eastern boundary of the municipality.
history
Until 1867 the place was only called Pozzo from the Latin Putheum .
