Bressanvido is a northeastern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 3189 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Vicenza in Veneto . The municipality is located about 17 kilometers north-northeast of Vicenza and borders directly on the province of Padua . The Tesina flows east of Bressanvido .

history

The community was first mentioned in 975 in a letter from the Bishop of Vicenza. The district of Poianello first appeared in 1261.
