Brendola (German: Brünndel ) is a northeast Italian municipality ( comune ) in the province of Vicenza in Veneto . The municipality is located about 12 kilometers southwest of Vicenza in the Colli Berici .

history

The historic Via Postumia runs through the municipality . Around 1000 Otto III. the castle on the Episcopal Rock to the Bishops of Vicenza. In 1404 the municipality came to the Republic of Venice .
