Pove del Grappa is a north-east Italian municipality ( comune ) with 3113 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Vicenza in Veneto . The municipality is located about 46 kilometers north-northeast of Vicenza , belongs to the Comunità Montana del Grappa and borders directly on the province of Treviso . The Brenta borders Pove del Grappa to the west.

history

The community is first mentioned in a document in 917. The city of Vicenza was fortified in 1198.
