Monteviale is a northeastern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 2848 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Vicenza in Veneto . The municipality is located about seven kilometers west-northwest of Vicenza . In 1906 the municipality became independent as a former part of the neighboring municipality of Gambugliano .
