Quinto Vicentino is a north-east Italian municipality ( comune ) with 5825 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Vicenza in Veneto . The municipality is about 6.5 kilometers northeast of Vicenza and borders directly on the province of Padua . The Tesina flows through Quinto Vicentino .
history
Andrea Palladio built the Villa Thiene here between 1545 and 1546 .
Until 1867 the community was simply called Quinto .
