Montegaldella is a north-eastern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 1811 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Vicenza in Veneto . The municipality is located about 15 kilometers southeast of Vicenza on the Bacchiglione and borders the province of Padua . Montegaldella is located in the Colli Berici wine region .

traffic

Since September 2012, the south extension of the A31 autostrada from Vicenza has passed through the municipality. In the district of Ghizzole there is a small airfield ( Aviosuperficie Montegaldella ) for general aviation .
