The Bacchiglione is a river in northern Italy .

It rises near Vicenza and initially flows in a south-easterly direction to Padua . There it is divided into several channels, u. a. the Canale Scaricatore and the Canale Piovego , which drains towards the Brenta . About the Scaricatore the Bacchiglione flows further south over the Canale Roncajette , united in Bovolenta with the Canale Vigenzone canal and finally just before its confluence with the Adriatic Sea to the Brenta.

The Bacchiglione served as a waterway up to Vicenza for many centuries.
