Zermeghedo is a northeastern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 1387 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Vicenza in Veneto . The municipality is located about 16 kilometers west-southwest of Vicenza on the Chiampo and the Guà .

history

The core of the community is said to have originated around 568 under the Lombard king Alboin . From 1335 it was an independent municipality - from 1929 to 1947, however, it was part of the neighboring municipality of Montebello Vicentino .
