Cogollo del Cengio is a north-eastern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 3136 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Vicenza in Veneto . The municipality is located about 24 kilometers north-northwest of Vicenza . Until 1924 the community was only called Cogollo . It bordered the so-called seven parishes .

Both the former Strada Statale 349 di Val d'Assa e Pedemontana Costo (today the provincial road 349 Costo) and the former Strada Statale 350 di Folgaria e di Val d'Astico (today the provincial road 350 Valdastico) run through the municipality.

From 1910 to 1958, Cogollo del Cengio was served by the Rocchette – Asiago rack railway .
