Malo is a northern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 14,800 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Vicenza in Veneto . The municipality is located about 17 kilometers northwest of Vicenza on the western bank of the Timonchio .

Malo is in the area where, according to tradition, the Euganeans lived. The place name comes from the name Maladum .
