Track Cycling World Cup 2014/15

UCI Track Cycling World Cup Logo.jpg

The UCI Track Cycling World Cup 2014/2015 will be held in three races between November 2014 and January 2015. The organizer is the World Cycling Federation UCI .

The placements achieved at these events determine the participation of athletes and associations in the UCI Track World Championships in 2015 and subsequently in the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro .

At the first run in Guadalajara , the German athletes Kristina Vogel , Stefan Bötticher , Gudrun Stock and Mieke Kröger could not start in all races due to food poisoning. Vogel had already contested the qualification for the team sprint and reached the grand finale together with Miriam Welte , so that second place was certain. Gudrun Stock was nominated for the final instead of Vogel, but the two drivers did not take part in the race. For this reason, the women's four-man track was unable to contest its last race.
