Nikita Alexandrowitsch Schurschin ( Russian: Никита Александрович Шуршин ; born April 8, 1993 in Tula ) is a Russian track cyclist .

In 2011, Nikita Schurschin won the renowned Moscow sprint tournament Memorial Alexander Lesnikow in the sprint and keirin . At the UCI-Bahn World Championships for Juniors in 2011 , he won the silver medal in the Keirin and the bronze medal in the team sprint , together with Viktor Nenastin and Alexander Sharapov . At the European Junior Track Championships he was also second in the keirin and third in the team sprint (with Nenastin and Sharapov). In the same year he twice improved the junior world record over 200 meters with a flying start.

Schurschin was registered as a substitute driver for the team sprint for the 2012 Olympic Games in London , but was not used. At the UEC European Rail Championships in 2012 in Panevėžys , Lithuania , he finished fourth in the sprint and team sprint (with Denis Dmitrijew and Sergei Kutscherow ) and ninth in the keirin. The following year he was the Russian champion in the team sprint , together with Andrei Kubejew and Denis Schurschin . In 2014 he was two-time European champion (U23) in sprint and keirin.

In 2016 Shurschin was nominated for participation in the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro , where he finished 26th in the sprint.
