Pawel Andrejewitsch Jakuschewski ( Russian Па́вел Андре́евич Якуше́вский , also Pavel Yakushevskiy ; born September 24, 1987 in Moscow ) is a Russian cyclist.

Athletic career

In 2008, Pawel Jakuschewski won his first international title when he was U23 European team sprint champion together with Denis Dmitrijew and Stojan Wasew . In 2013 and 2014 he took bronze in the team sprint.

At the UEC European Rail Championships in 2016 , Pawel Jakuschewski was European sprint champion .

Suspected doping

In August 2017, it was announced that Pawel Jakuschewski had tested positive for meldonium . The Russian association stated that this substance has only been banned since September 1, 2016, so it is a residue. It is not known when the sample was taken.
