Casper Pedersen (born March 15, 1996 in Copenhagen ) is a Danish cyclist who is active on track and road .
Athletic career
In 2013 Casper Pedersen won the bronze medal in the Omnium at the Junior World Track Championships in Glasgow . The following year he was at the following Junior World Championships in Gwangmyeong , South Korea , a suburb of Seoul , world champion in the Omnium. Also in 2014 he took second place at the Pavé de Roubaix , the junior competition in Paris – Roubaix .
In the 2015 UEC European Track Championships in Switzerland Grenchen won Pedersen together with Lasse Norman Hansen , Daniel Henning Hartvig and Rasmus Quaade the bronze medal in the team pursuit .
The following year, Casper Pedersen was nominated for participation in the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro , where he won the bronze medal together with Lasse Norman Hansen , Rasmus Christian Quaade , Niklas Larsen , Frederik Madsen and Casper von Folsach .
In 2017 Casper Pedersen won the gold medal in the team pursuit at the Track Cycling World Cup in Cali together with Niklas Larsen , Julius Johansen and Frederik Madsen . In the same year he was U23 European road racing champion in front of a home crowd in Herning .
