Gwangmyeong is a city in Gyeonggi-do Province in South Korea . It is bordered by Seoul to the north and northwest , Anyang to the west and south, and Siheung to the east.
Like other cities around Seoul, Gwangmyeong is closely connected to the capital's transport network. It is connected to Line 7 of the Seoul Subway through Cheolsan Station and Gwangmyeong Sageori Station . In addition, the Gwangmyeong Station was built here, a station that is only served by the Korea Train Express (KTX). It is the first station of the KTX south of Seoul.
The largest Ikea department store in the world is located in Gwangmyeong, at 57,100 square meters .
