Frederik Rodenberg Madsen (born January 22, 1998 in Værløse ) is a Danish cyclist who competes on track and road .

In 2015 Frederik Madsen started at the UEC European Track Championships for Juniors / U23 and won the silver medal in the team pursuit with the Danish junior four ( Niklas Larsen , Rasmus Pedersen and Tim Vang Cronqvist ) . The following year he started with the four at the World Championships of the Elite in London , where the team ( Lasse Norman Hansen , Niklas Larsen, Casper von Folsach and Rasmus Christian Quaade ) took third place.

In the same year Madsen was Danish road racing champion and runner-up in the individual time trial . Also in 2016 he was nominated for the participation in the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro and the start in the team pursuit. Together with Lasse Norman Hansen , Rasmus Christian Quaade , Niklas Larsen , Casper von Folsach and Casper Pedersen he won the bronze medal.

At the UCI World Railroad Championships 2018 in Apeldoorn , the Danish four-man with Madsen, Julius Johansen , Niklas Larsen and Casper von Folsach finished second. After an almost one year injury break, he won the U23 race from Eschborn – Frankfurt in 2019 .
