Sebastian Siedler (born January 18, 1978 in Leipzig ) is a former German cyclist .

Life

After championship titles in the junior and men's division and several victories on the road, he became world champion in the team pursuit in 2000 . Two years later he won the silver medal in this discipline, and he was also successful with several daily successes in tours .

When he switched from TEAG Team Köstritzer to Team Wiesenhof in 2004, Sebastian Siedler received his first professional contract. He quickly proved himself to be a top performer and won a stage of the Friedensfahrt , a day segment of the Hessen Tour and, at the end of the season, the race around Nuremberg's old town .

In 2006 and 2007 Siedler started for the UCI ProTeam Milram . In the 2008 season he drove for Skil-Shimano . In 2009 and 2010 he started for the Austrian Professional Continental Team Vorarlberg-Corratec . At the end of the 2010 season he ended his career as a professional cyclist.
