Yuriy Vasyliv
Yuriy Vasyliv (born September 13, 1993 in Ivano-Frankivsk , Ukraine ) is a former German cyclist .
In 2010, Yuriy Vasyliv took third place in the overall ranking of the Polish junior race Cup of Grudziadz Town President . The following year he reached fifth place in the junior individual time trial at the World Road Championships in Copenhagen . In addition, he was German vice-champion of the juniors in the individual time trial and ninth in the overall ranking of the Giro della Lunigiana . In 2012 he became German champion in team pursuit , together with Kersten Thiele , Michel Koch and Henning Bommel ; in the single pursuit he was sixth. In the Romanian Tour of Szekerland , he finished fifth in the same year.
In 2014, Yuriy Vasyliv ended his athletic career due to persistent knee problems.
