Francesco Lamon (born February 5, 1994 in Mirano ) is an Italian cyclist who competes in races on track and road .

Francesco Lamon's focus is on the endurance disciplines on the track. In 2011 he became Italian champion for the first time as a junior in the Omnium , three years later he won the national title in the elite in the points race . In 2015 he and Simone Consonni won the bronze medal in the two-man team driving at the U23 European Championships .

In 2016 Lamon started in the team pursuit at the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro and finished fifth with the Italian four-man from Liam Bertazzo , Simone Consonni and Filippo Ganna . In the same discipline, he won the silver medal at the European Elite Championships and the U23 European Championships . At the second round of the Track Cycling World Cup in Apeldoorn in 2016/17 , he and Consonni took second place in the two-man team. At the UCI Track World Championships 2017 , Lamon won the bronze medal in the team pursuit together with Liam Bertazzo, Ganna and Consonni.

In 2018 the Italian four-man with Lamon, Elia Viviani , Liam Bertazzo and Filippo Ganna became European champions . In the same year Lamon won the six days of Fiorenzuola d'Arda with Consonni . At the 2019 European Games , he won silver twice, in the 1000-meter time trial and in the team pursuit (with Carloalberto Giordani , Davide Plebani , Stefano Moro and Liam Bertazzo). At the 2020 World Championships in Berlin, Lamon again took bronze with Filippo Ganna, Simone Consonni, Jonathan Milan and Michele Scartezzini .
