Track Cycling World Cup 2018/19

The UCI Track Cycling World Cup 2018/19 was held in six races between October 2018 and January 2019.

The organizer was the World Cycling Federation Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI).

In all World Cup races, the six disciplines - men and women - that are also part of the Olympic program: sprint , team sprint , keirin , team pursuit , two-man team driving and omnium . The organizers were also able to host races in the world championship disciplines of 1000 and 500 meter time trials , single pursuit , points trial and scratch .

The runs of the World Cup were part of the qualification for the 2020 Olympic Games in the Japanese capital Tokyo .

As part of the World Cup run in the Berlin Velodrom (November 30th - December 2nd), Paralympics winner Michael Teuber attempted to set an hourly world record . The previously valid record in the C1 paracycling competition class was 39.326 kilometers and was set up by Teuber himself on May 8, 2005 on the cycling track in Augsburg . On November 30th he succeeded in improving the world record to 42.583 kilometers.
