Fabio Van den Bossche (born September 21, 2000 in Ghent ) is a Belgian cyclist who competes in races on track and road .

Athletic career

Fabio Van den Bossche has been racing since he was eight years old. He likes the variety that track cycling gives him in different disciplines; road cycling has so far served him rather to improve his performance on the track. His motto is: "Just drive fast enough."

In 2015 Van den Bossche and Nicolas Wernimont became Belgian youth champion in two-man team driving . In 2017 and 2018 he was the European Junior Champion with Wernimont; In 2018 he also won the points race . In the same year he became Belgian champion of the elite in the points race and in the derny race . In 2019 he won silver in the team pursuit together with Robbe Ghys , Gerben Thijssen and Sasha Weemaes at the U23 European Championships . At the European Games in Minsk he finished fourth with Moreno De Pauw in the two-man team.

On August 1, 2019, Van den Bossche was signed by the Sport Vlaanderen team as stagiaire .
