Jay Lamoureux (born August 13, 1995 in Victoria ) is a Canadian cyclist who competes on track and road .

Athletic career

In 2016 Jay Lamoureux won a silver medal at the Pan American Championships on the track in the single and in the team pursuit (with Adam Jamieson , Aidan Caves and Ed Veal ). In November he won Caves, Jamieson, Veal and Bayley Simpson the Team Pursuit at the course of the track World Cup in the Netherlands Apeldoorn . At the Pan American Championships , Caves and Simpson won the team pursuit title together with Derek Gee .

At the 2018 Commonwealth Games in Australia , the Canadian four-man from Michael Foley , Derek Gee and Aidan Caves won the bronze medal, Lamoureux was 14th in the individual time trial on the road 14. At the UCI Track World Championships 2019 in Pruszków , the four took a disappointing fourth place.
