The track competitions were held at the Anna Meares Velodrome in Brisbane

At the 2018 Commonwealth Games in Australia , 26 cycling competitions were held, 13 for men and 13 for women.

16 track races took place from April 5th to 8th at the Anna Meares Velodrome in a suburb of Brisbane . 152 athletes competed in the velodrome. The Australian four-man team ( Leigh Howard , Sam Welsford , Alexander Porter , Kelland O'Brien ) set a new world record with 3: 49.804 minutes and was the first team to stay under four minutes. In addition, four new game records were set.

The mountain -Competitions were on April 12 on the Nerang Mountain Bike Trails discharged, ITT (April 10) and road race (April 14) along the beach in Gold Coast on Currumbin Beachfront be.

Four competitions were held in paracycling for the visually impaired (class B) on the track. The Englishwoman Sophie Thornhill , together with her pilot Helen Scott, also set a new world record over 1000 meters with 1: 04.623 minutes.
