Groß-Görschen Infantry Division

The Groß-Görschen Infantry Division was a German infantry division during World War II .

The division was known as Shadow Division in September 1944 in hiking for the Military District III installed. The division name probably refers to the place Großgörschen or the battle of Großgörschen . , Division name refers to that of the infantry division Niedergörsdorf , Infantry Division Dennewitz , Infantry Division Katzbach and the Infantry Division Moeckern on places of liberation wars .

On September 28, 1944, the 587th Volksgrenadier Division was refreshed .
