Döllersheim Infantry Division

The Döllersheim infantry division was set up as a so-called shadow division at the beginning of August 1944 .

The installation took place in the course of the 31st wave on the military training area Döllersheim , military district XVII , in Lower Austria . On August 26, 1944 , the existing parts of the Döllersheim Infantry Division were used to set up the 564th Volksgrenadier Division .

The structure of the so-called division was:

  • Grenadier Regiment 1 Döllersheim
  • Grenadier Regiment 2 Döllersheim
  • Artillery Battalion Döllersheim
  • Pioneer Battalion Döllersheim
  • Panzerjäger Battalion
