Münsingen Infantry Division

The Münsingen infantry division was set up on July 4, 1944 as a so-called shadow division .

The preparation was carried out in the course of 28 line-up shaft on the military training area Münsingen for the Military District V . On July 12, 1944, the division consisted of three battalions and two regimental staffs. The list was terminated prematurely at this point.

On August 1, 1944, the dissolution of the Münsingen Infantry Division was completed and the division parts that had already been set up were used to set up the 543rd People's Grenadier Division .
