Danube Infantry Division

The Danube Infantry Division was set up as a so-called shadow division in mid-March 1945 .

The installation took place until March 23, 1945 in the course of the 34th wave of installation . The soldiers came from Bavaria and Austria .

On April 12, 1945, the Danube Infantry Division was disbanded and the units were incorporated into the 26th People's Grenadier Division as a replacement for troops.
