Military District XIII (Nuremberg)
The Military District XIII (Nuremberg) was a territorial administrative unit of the Wehrmacht during the time of the Nazi Reich and was from 1937 to 1945. He was separating from the former Military District VII (Munich) made and received additional areas that were previously the Military District V had heard . The military district was responsible for the military security of the administrative districts of Upper Franconia , Middle Franconia , Lower Bavaria and Upper Palatinate , of parts of Main Franconia , Württemberg and Baden and, from 1938, of the administrative district of Eger ( Sudetenland ) as well as the provision and training of personnel for the army in this area. The military district comprised three replacement districts (Nuremberg, Regensburg and Eger ). The headquarters were in Nuremberg .
