Military Replacement District

Alternative military districts were in Nazi Germany territorial administrative units in the field of replacement system , the coordination between the armed forces and the administrative authorities. They were used for internal administration and monitoring of conscription . The military substitute districts formed the middle administrative level below the level of the military district . A military district usually comprised several alternative military districts, each of which in turn was subordinate to several military district commands .
