Military District XVIII (Salzburg)
The Military District XVIII (Salzburg) was after the so-called Anschluss formed in 1938 territorial administrative unit of the Wehrmacht in the Nazi Reich and existed until 1945. The military district was responsible for military security of Salzburg , Tyrol and Styria , and later still the CdZ -type regions Lower Styria and Carinthia and Carniola , as well as the provision and training of parts of the army in this area. The military district included the two replacement districts of Graz and Innsbruck . The headquarters were in Salzburg .
