Military District XII (Wiesbaden)
The military district XII (Wiesbaden) was a territorial administrative unit of the Wehrmacht in the Nazi Reich and was from 1936 to 1945. He was in charge of military security of the territories southern Rhine Province , Hesse-Nassau , Saarland and after 1940 also Luxembourg and Lorraine and the Ersatzgestellung and training of personnel for the army in this area. The military district comprised several military substitute districts . The headquarters were in Wiesbaden .
