Sarah Roy (born February 27, 1986 in Sydney ) is an Australian road cyclist .
Athletic career
Sarah Roy began her sporting activities with gymnastics and triathlon . In 2007 she took third place in the U23 category at the Duathlon World Championships . Only at the age of 27 did she become active in competitive cycling. She has a degree in sports science and is completing a master's degree in sports physiology .
Roy started her cycling career in August 2013 at Futurumshop.nl . In 2014 she became the Australian champion in the criterion . In 2015 she moved to the home team Orica GreenEdge . The following year she won a stage of the Holland Ladies Tour , in 2017 and 2018 a stage each of the British Women's Tour . In 2018 she also won Gooik – Geraardsbergen – Gooik . The following year she won the points classification of the Santos Women's Tour and the Clasica Femenina Navarra .
