Ian Bibby (born December 20, 1986 in Preston ) is a British cyclist .

Athletic career

In 2003, Ian Bibby in Birmingham for the first time British champion in cyclo-cross , in the junior class in Birmingham; In 2004 he was able to defend his title. In 2007 and 2008 he won the national championship title in the U23 class and the National Trophy Series in Derby . His most significant success in cyclo-cross sport was achieved in 2010 when he won the British elite championship.

From 2010 Bibby shifted his sporting focus to road cycling and in 2010 won his first races on the international calendar with one section each of the Cinturón a Mallorca . In 2017 he won the one-day race Velothon Wales . The following year he was overall runner-up in the New Zealand Cycle Classic stage race , in which he also won a day section and the points classification .
