Tiffany Jane Cromwell (born July 6, 1988 in Adelaide ) is an Australian cyclist .

Athletic career

In 2004 and 2005, Tiffany Cromwell won six podium places at the Oceanic Championships in the juniors: in 2004 in Melbourne she was second in the single pursuit and third in each case in the points race and in the scratch ; In 2005 she was third in the single pursuit and second in the scratch, in the road race she also finished second. In 2008, Cromwell was Australian junior runner-up and won the US races Garrett Lemire Memorial GP and Sea Otter Classic . In 2009, Cromwell finished third in the National Junior Road Championship and finished tenth on the Tour of New Zealand .

In 2009 Cromwell won a stage of the Grande Boucle Féminine . In the following years she mainly competed in races in Europe. At the Tour of New Zealand 2010 she finished third in the overall standings and second at the Sparkassen Giro in Bochum . At Omloop Het Nieuwsblad she finished eighth in 2011.

In 2012, Tiffany Cromwell won the title of Australian runner-up in the elite road race. With several placements among the top ten in various cycling races, she was ninth in the ranking of the Cycling World Cup at the end of the season . In the following years she won individual stages in races: in 2013 she won Omloop Het Nieuwsblad , in 2016 a stage in the Giro d'Italia Femminile and in 2017 in the International Tour of Thuringia .
