Hayley Simmonds (born July 22, 1988 in Redditch ) is a British cyclist .

Athletic career

Hayley Simmons began her athletic career as a rower . She practiced this sport as a schoolgirl and then rowed in Cambridge for eight years . In 2010 she started cycling. In 2015 and 2016 she became the British individual time trial champion . In 2018 she won the bronze medal in this discipline at the Commonwealth Games and the silver medal at the European Games in 2019 . In October 2019, she became the British mountain time trial champion .
