Neah Evans (born August 1, 1990 in Langbank ) is a Scottish cyclist who competes on track and road .

Athletic career

Neah Evans started her athletic career as a hill runner . She was twice British U23 champion before she had to give up this sport due to injury. She is a trained veterinarian by profession .

Evans has been a full-time cyclist on track and road since 2017. In the same year she became Scottish champion in the ten mile individual time trial . At the second run of the Track World Cup in Manchester 2017, she won gold in the team pursuit together with Elinor Barker , Katie Archibald and Emily Nelson .

At the Commonwealth Games 2018 Evans won two medals, silver in the scratch and bronze in the points race . At the European Railway Championships , the British women's foursome with Evans, Archibald, Barker and Laura Kenny won the title as well as gold at the Railway World Cup in London . On the road, Neah Evans finished third in the British Individual Time Trial Championship.

In 2019 Evans had further successes with the British foursome: The team won the World Cup in Glasgow and won the European Championship in Apeldoorn . In 2020, she and Laura Kenny won the two-man team at the World Cup in Milton .
