Eleanor "Ellie" Dickinson (born June 4, 1998 in Carlisle ) is a British cyclist.

Athletic career

In 2015 Eleanor Dickinson won the silver medal in scratch at the Junior European Railway Championships . In the following year she won bronze at the Junior European Championships with Lauren Dolan , Rebecca Raybould and Jessica Roberts and in the same year gold with Emily Kay , Manon Lloyd , Emily Nelson and Dannielle Khan at the Track Cycling World Cup in Glasgow .

In 2017, Dickinson was again able to place successfully at European championships in different age groups: First, at the U23 European railway championships with Manon Lloyd, she was U-23 European champion in two-man team driving and won Silver Scratch , the single pursuit and the Omnium . In October, she won with Elinor Barker the European title in a two-team driving and with Emily Kay, Manon Lloyd, Elinor Barker and Katie Archibald bronze in the team pursuit. In 2018 and 2019 she was able to repeat the EM success in the team pursuit. The British foursome won silver at the 2019 World Championships with Dickinson, Laura Kenny , Elinor Barker and Katie Archibald.
