Manon Lloyd (born November 5, 1996 in Carmarthen ) is a former British cyclist who competed on track and road .
Athletic career
In 2014, Lloyd won two gold medals at the Junior European Railway Championships, in the points race and in the team pursuit . She was then the British Cycling Federation British Cycling in the Programs Team Olympic Academy added.
In the following two years, Lloyd suffered from bad luck with injuries: in 2015 she broke her pelvis . The following year, she broke her sacrum in a fall during the Energy Watch Tour in April , but finished the stage and gave up the race two days later. Only back in England was she diagnosed.
After a long break from competition, Manon Lloyd started at the U23 European Railway Championships and became European team pursuit champion together with Emily Kay , Dannielle Khan and Emily Nelson . At the European Elite Championships in the same year, the British team won bronze with the same line-up as Lloyd.
The following year, Manon Lloyd and Eleanor Dickinson were U23 European champions in the two-man team , and in the points race , she finished third. At the European Railway Championships in Berlin she won silver with Eleanor Dickinson, Emily Kay, Elinor Barker and Katie Archibald . She ended her cycling career at the end of 2019.
