Katie Colclough (born January 20, 1990 in Frieston , Grantham , Lincolnshire ) is a former British cyclist .

Athletic career

In 2008 Katie Colclough became European Champion in the Team Pursuit (U23), together with Joanna Rowsell and Elizabeth Armitstead . The team won two World Cup races in the same composition. In November 2010 she became the European elite team pursuit champion, with Wendy Houvenaghel and Laura Trott , after having had a serious training accident in Belgium earlier this year.

In 2009 Colclough also won the European runner-up title (U23) on the road and became a member of the “British Cycling's Olympic Development” team.

In 2013 Katie Colclough became world champion in the team time trial together with Lisa Brennauer , Carmen Small , Evelyn Stevens , Ellen van Dijk and Trixi Worrack . After these world championships, she ended her cycling career.
