Sabrina Stultiens (born July 8, 1993 in Helmond ) is a Dutch cyclist who is active in road cycling and cross-country races .

Athletic career

Sabrina Stultiens, who started cycling at the age of seven, had her first successes in cyclo-cross racing. In 2011 she became Dutch junior champion in this discipline, 2013 vice European champion and 2014 European champion, each in the U23 category.

From 2013, Stultiens increasingly competed on the road; So this year she won the junior championship of the Basque cycle race Emakumeen Bira . The following year, she was U23 European road racing champion. In 2017 she became world champion in the team time trial as a member of the Sunweb team .

For the 2018 season, the Dutchwoman switched to Team WaowDeals Pro Cycling . She won the first stage of Emakumeen Bira in solo , thus recording her first victory in the UCI Women's WorldTour and at the same time her first professional victory. In September 2018, the day before the start of the Tour Cycliste Féminin International de l'Ardèche, she fell and suffered a severe concussion. Its consequences meant that she could not contest any races in 2019.
