Barbara Guarischi (born February 10, 1990 in Ponte San Pietro ) is an Italian cyclist.

Athletic career

Barbara Guarischi began her career as a cyclist on the track . In 2007 she became vice world champion of the junior women in scratch and vice-European champion in the same discipline. Then she put her sporting focus on road cycling , even though she was on the podium several times in 2013 at Italian track championships. In 2012 she was runner-up in European road racing (U23).

In 2014, Guarischi won one stage each of the Route de France Féminine and the Trophée d'Or Féminin . In 2015, she also won one stage of the Energiewacht Tour and the Giro d'Italia Femminile . In the same year she became world champion in the team time trial with the Velocio-SRAM team .
