Anneliese Most
Anneliese Most (born November 25, 1912 in Wismar ; † September 6, 1982 ) was a German kindergarten teacher and politician . First she worked for the East German DFD , later in the West for the SPD . At the suggestion of the SPD, she was elected as a member of the Hamburg parliament for an electoral term from 1957 to 1961 .
Live and act
The trained kindergarten teacher Anneliese Most practiced her profession until her marriage in 1935. Her husband died in 1945. She worked as a self-employed person from 1945 to 1947 before she got jobs in administrative departments in Ludwigslust , Schwerin and Potsdam . From 1949 to 1952 she held leading positions in the German Democratic Women's Association, including as DFD state secretary for Mecklenburg and then in Brandenburg .
In 1952 she moved to West Berlin and was recognized as a political refugee. She joined the SPD. In 1953 she moved to Hamburg and got a job as party secretary of the SPD, Hamburg-Wandsbek district . In 1957 she was elected to the Hamburg state parliament at the suggestion of the SPD. Above all, she campaigned for a new radiation protection law and joined the fight against atomic death .
