Christine Majerus (born February 25, 1987 in Luxembourg ) is a Luxembourgish cyclist . She has been the dominant cyclist in her country since the mid-2000s.
Athletic career
In 2007 Christine Majerus won her first national title when she became Luxembourg champion in the individual time trial . By 2019, she was at least 33 times champion in her country, in road racing , in the individual time trial and in cross-country races . In 2015, she and the Boels Dolmans Cyclingteam team were runner-up in the team time trial world championship . In 2016 she became world champion in the team time trial with the same team. In 2018 and 2018 the team won silver again with Majerus in their ranks.
Miscellaneous
In 2013, 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018, Majerus was voted Luxembourg Sportswoman of the Year . She is not related to the cyclist of the same name Jean Majerus .
