Roberta Bonanomi

Roberta Bonanomi (born October 15, 1966 in Sotto il Monte ) is a former Italian cyclist .

Roberta Bonanomi was a cyclist on the road running from the beginning of the 1980s to the early 2000s. In 1988 she became world champion in the team time trial , together with Maria Canins , Monica Bandini and Francesca Galli . The following year, she won the Giro d'Italia Femminile , the Tour of Norway and the Italian team was runner-up in the same composition as last year . In 1993 she finished third at the road world championships in team time trial, together with Alessandra Cappellotto , Michela Fanini and Fabiana Luperini .

In 1994 Bonanomi was second in the Giro del Trentino Alto Adige . In 1995 she was Italian vice-champion in the individual time trial , third in the Giro d'Italia Femminile , again second in the Giro del Trentino Alto Adige and second in the Masters Féminin .

Roberta Bonanomi competed at the Olympic Games five times between 1984 and 2000, but was never able to place in the front.
