Elena Cecchini (born May 29, 1992 in Udine ) is an Italian cyclist who is equally successful on track and road .
Athletic career
In 2009 Elena Cecchini was junior European champion in road racing , vice junior world champion in points racing and Italian junior champion in road racing, and the following year she was junior European champion in points racing. In 2012 she won the French stage race Trophée d'Or Féminin . In 2013 she became two-time Italian champion, in the points race and in the team pursuit , together with Beatrice Bartelloni , Tatiana Guderzo and Marta Tagliaferro . At the Junior European Railway Championships she won the bronze medal with the French team (Bartelloni, Ceccini, Maria Giulia Confalonieri and Chiara Vannucci ).
Cecchini achieved her first international success on the road in 2012 at the Trophée d'Or Féminin , in which she won a stage and the overall standings. In 2014 she became Italian road racing champion, in 2015 she won both titles, road racing and individual time trial, and in 2016 she was Italian road racing champion for the third time. In 2016 she also won the International Women's Tour of Thuringia .

Cecchini lives with Elia Viviani , who is also a cyclist.
