The Weltjournal (own spelling: WELTjournal ) is a regularly broadcast foreign magazine of the Austrian Broadcasting Corporation (ORF), every Wednesday at 10.30 p.m. on ORF 2 . It brings reports on international events and shows social and political developments from a globalized world. Particular attention is paid to current events and international trends that are relevant for Austria. Together with Weltjournal + afterwards, it offers a thematically coordinated 90-minute international TV series. The program is moderated by Cornelia Vospernik , the program manager Christa Hofmann and, since November 2019, Patricia Pawlicki .

Since January 2016, the program has been coming from the new ORF info studio, which the "Weltjournal" shares with the programs Specific , Topic , Report and Eco .
