World Journal +
The Weltjournal + (own spelling: WELTjournal + ) is a program related to the Weltjournal and is broadcast every Wednesday at 23:00 on ORF 2 . The focus of the program is on political and social events around the world, with increasing recourse to personal stories with individual protagonists. The focus of Weltjournal + is on documentaries on "Burnout Planet", sustainable living, foreign cultures and rituals, human rights, rich and poor, as well as individual life plans.
Weltjournal + is monothematic. The topics are set in relation to the World Journal, which is why Weltjournal + often brings up and continues similar topics. This tries to give the viewer an intensive insight into a certain topic, in the spirit of a theme evening. Thanks to its very personal approach, Weltjournal + shows insights into previously undiscovered worlds and creates access to the everyday life of the protagonists. The documentation is purchased internationally and thus gives a broad overview of the production of documentation worldwide.
